AstraRad keyword research
What this is. The keyword evidence behind every string in the backlinks guide's COMPANY FIELDS drawer. Part 1 is the 2026-08-13 tagline and directory research (source:seo/research/tagline-research-2026-08-13.md). Part 2 is the full cluster map (source:seo/context/target-keywords.md, 2026-07-31). No search-volume data exists on this project; both parts say what was verified and how.
Part 1 · Tagline and directory research, 2026-08-13
Research run for the Company fields drawer in DOCS/backlinks-guide.html. Companion to ../context/target-keywords.md (the 2026-07-31 cluster map). Rendered for the browser at DOCS/keyword-research.html.
No search-volume figures were obtainable. The Brave API key returns 422 SUBSCRIPTION_TOKEN_INVALID and DataForSEO remains unverified, so all evidence below is qualitative: Google autocomplete presence, ranking-page titles, and competitor strings captured verbatim.
Where a tagline actually surfaces
- LinkedIn (verified, raw HTML via Googlebot UA): the tagline is NOT in the page title. It is the second element of the indexed meta description, template
{Name} | {N} followers on LinkedIn. {TAGLINE} | {About text}, duplicated into og:description. It sits at roughly characters 30-90: the zone that survives snippet truncation (~155-160 chars) and is what social scrapers and answer-engine retrieval read. - Clutch (partially verified; head bot-blocked): the title tag is name-only boilerplate. The tagline renders as the first H2 of the profile body. Category placement is driven by structured Service Lines fields, not tagline text. Clutch has no teleradiology category;
clutch.co/profile/astraradis a 404 today. - G2: fully bot-blocked this session; nothing verified.
Autocomplete evidence (suggestqueries.google.com, gl=us)
Real query traffic (suggestions returned):
| Seed | Notable completions |
|---|---|
| teleradiology | teleradiology solutions, companies, services, specialists |
| teleradiology services | teleradiology services usa, teleradiology reporting services |
| outsourced radiology | outsourced radiology services, outsourced radiology reporting |
| nighthawk radiology | nighthawk radiology services |
| radiology coverage | overnight radiology coverage |
| radiology reads | remote radiology reads |
| teleradiology cost per study | teleradiology price per study |
| subspecialty teleradiology | subspecialty teleradiology (exact match) |
Zero suggestions (negligible query volume): final read radiology, subspecialty radiology reads, radiology per study pricing, remote radiology reading services, teleradiology for imaging centers, final reads.
Headline finding: "final read" is industry vocabulary, not search vocabulary. "Teleradiology" is the query hub; everything else orbits it. Every ranking title inspected for commercial queries contains the word "teleradiology".

- Recur: teleradiology (8 of 11 set taglines, and every homepage title inspected), radiology, services/solutions, reporting, subspecialty, leader/pioneer.
- Absent from every competitor tagline: any price or pricing model, "final", "signed", "24/7", "365", buyer nouns. Those are uncontested differentiator territory.
Defunct or wrong as competitor targets: Nines (redirects to Sirona Medical), Argus (acquired by Real Radiology 2018), Aris origin down, "Reference Radiology" not found.
The chosen tagline
Subspecialist teleradiology, 600,000 reads a year - 49 chars (cap: 50). Chosen by the founder from four candidates on 2026-08-13.
- It compresses the site's own title tag ("AstraRad: Subspecialist Teleradiology, 600,000 Reads a Year"), so every directory citation repeats the exact string search engines already associate with astrarad.com. Consistency across citations is the entity signal.
- Opens with the category noun every competitor keeps and every buyer query contains; "subspecialty teleradiology" is an autocomplete-verified exact query.
- No competitor tagline carries any number (see the table above), so the scale figure is instantly extractable by answer engines building comparison lists.
- The wedge terms and the rest of the numbers (final signed reports, 28-minute median STAT, per-report pricing, 24/7/365) survive in all three descriptions, which lead with "US teleradiology company".
Rejected candidates, for the record: "Subspecialist teleradiology, final signed reports" (49, no number, read as a category label), "Teleradiology: 28-minute median STAT turnaround" (47, speed-led; the median moved to 30 minutes later the same day, which is itself an argument against a turnaround figure in a hard-to-edit tagline field), "Teleradiology: 600,000 final signed reads a year" (48, dropped "subspecialist").

Part 2 · Target keywords and topic clusters, 2026-07-31
AstraRad's target keywords organized by topic cluster, derived from the SERP research in ../research/research-synthesis-2026-07-31.json.
Volume and difficulty data is not available. DataForSEO credentials are not configured (see ../README.md), so no cluster below carries measured volume or KD. Priorities are set by observed SERP weakness and buyer intent, both of which came from live SERP inspection on 2026-07-31. When DataForSEO lands, run research_topic_clusters.py and research_serp_analysis.py and backfill the volume columns.
Current ranking position for every keyword below: not ranking. astrarad.com has zero organic search presence as of 2026-07-31; a branded search returns StatRad, USARAD, STAR Teleradiology, and RadStar.
Three ranking patterns that hold across every cluster
Observed on every commercial SERP inspected in this niche. Apply them everywhere:
1. Price-in-title pages rank. NDX Imaging puts dollar figures in titles across modalities ("From $12 Per Study", "From $32", "From $38") and appears in nearly every commercial SERP. Almost no other US provider publishes any pricing. 2. Year-stamped titles rank. ALM, NDX, and Natoe all use "2026" aggressively and it is working. 3. Self-published buyer's guides rank against incumbents. Small and new entrants (Natoe, ALM, Excalibur) hold top slots in "best teleradiology companies" SERPs. Editorial competition in this niche is unusually weak.
Weakest SERPs, fastest wins: PET-CT and nuclear reads, X-ray and ultrasound overflow, preliminary-vs-final explainer (ranking content dates to 2013), and smaller-state geo pages. Hardest SERPs: "what is teleradiology" (Philips, Wikipedia, ScienceDirect) and "nighthawk radiology" (exact-match domain incumbent).
Cluster 1: Study Types and Modalities
Pillar
- Keyword: teleradiology services
- Intent: Commercial
- Pillar page:
/services(exists)
1a. STAT CT reads: Priority P1
- Primary: STAT CT reads
- Secondaries: emergency CT teleradiology, stroke protocol CT reads, trauma CT interpretation, CT teleradiology turnaround time, pulmonary embolism CT reads, STAT CT interpretation under 30 minutes
- Intent: Commercial-transactional (ED directors, imaging center managers evaluating vendors)
- Target page:
/services/stat-ct-reads(to create) - SERP: competitor service pages (StatRad, NightHawk Radiology, NDX, ALM) plus one turnaround-benchmark page
- Angle: sub-30-minute claims are the differentiating copy on every ranking page. Put concrete minutes in the title and H1, and publish a TAT table with stroke, trauma, and PE sub-times.
1b. MRI teleradiology: Priority P2
- Primary: MRI teleradiology reporting
- Secondaries: remote MRI interpretation, MRI overread services, subspecialty MRI reads, MRI final reads, neuro MRI reads, MSK MRI interpretation
- Intent: Commercial
- Target page:
/services/mri-teleradiology(to create) - SERP: Radsource, ProScan, Expert Radiology, All American Teleradiology, Smart Teleradiology, plus ALM's listicle
- Angle: subspecialty framing (neuro, MSK) is the ranking hook. StatRad and Real Radiology never name a single subspecialty; USARAD's subspecialty page is static 2018 HTML.
1c. Telemammography: Priority P2
- Primary: telemammography (the industry term buyers search; do not default to "mammography teleradiology")
- Secondaries: remote mammography reading services, mammogram overreads, 3D tomosynthesis remote reads, breast imaging teleradiology, MQSA-qualified remote radiologists
- Intent: Commercial; buyers screen on MQSA credentials and 24 to 48h turnaround
- Target page:
/services/telemammography(to create) - SERP: vRad breast page, NightHawk mammography sub-page, NDX price-led page, niche specialists (Tele-Gram, TeleMammography Specialists), Mass General
- Angle: vRad's breast page targets the question query "Can mammography be done remotely?" Answer it directly in an FAQ block. Lead with the MQSA credential.
1d. PET-CT and nuclear medicine: Priority P1 (quick win)
- Primary: PET-CT teleradiology
- Secondaries: nuclear medicine reads, remote PET/CT interpretation, oncology PET-CT reading services, SPECT-CT teleradiology, cardiac PET reads, nuclear medicine interpretation fees
- Intent: Commercial, low competition
- Target page:
/services/pet-ct-nuclear-medicine(to create) - SERP: thinnest of all study types. NDX price page, two tiny competitors, a PMC academic paper, and Wikipedia filling gaps.
- Angle: prioritize early. Lead with CAQ-certified readers and concrete credentials.
1e. X-ray and ultrasound overflow: Priority P2 (quick win)
- Primary: X-ray teleradiology, ultrasound reporting services
- Secondaries: overflow X-ray reads, plain film overreads, routine imaging overflow reporting, ultrasound interpretation services for imaging centers
- Intent: Commercial (imaging centers, urgent care)
- Target page:
/services/xray-ultrasound-overflow(to create) - SERP: weak and fragmented. Vesta, Specialty Teleradiology, offshore BPO pages (Flatworld, Uevolve), and a coding article.
- Angle: a clean US-radiologist page wins it. "No minimums" is the wedge for urgent care and small imaging centers; volume and bundle framing matters at $10 to $15 per study economics.
Long-Tail (Cluster 1)
- who reads my MRI studies remotely
- can mammography be read remotely
- remote radiologist for CT scans
- subspecialty MRI reads neuro MSK body
- final MRI reads vs overreads
- 3D tomosynthesis remote reading service
- PET-CT reading service for oncology practice
- outsource ultrasound interpretation imaging center
- plain film overread service
- who can read cardiac MRI remotely

Cluster 2: Coverage Use Cases
Pillar
- Keyword: teleradiology coverage
- Intent: Commercial
- Pillar page:
/services(exists), with/use-cases/*spokes
2a. Nighthawk / overnight: Priority P1
- Primary: nighthawk radiology (genericized brand term with real head volume)
- Secondaries: nighthawk radiology services, overnight radiology coverage, after-hours radiology reads, nighthawk teleradiology, 24/7 emergency radiology coverage, what is nighthawk radiology
- Intent: Mixed commercial and definitional
- Target page:
/use-cases/nighthawk-radiology(to create) - SERP: NighthawkRadiology.com holds the exact-match domain and multiple slots; xAID history/economics blog and VUMC news also rank
- Angle: the final-reads-vs-prelims wedge is proven (Vesta ranks a "Final Nighthawk Radiology Interpretations" page on exactly this). vRad's own 80%-final-reads stat shows the market has moved while most nighthawk incumbents remain prelim-first. Include a short "what is nighthawk radiology" definition block for the informational subintent.
2b. Weekend and holiday coverage: Priority P2
- Primary: weekend radiology coverage
- Secondaries: holiday radiology coverage, radiologist vacation coverage, after-hours teleradiology, locum vs teleradiology weekend coverage, radiology call coverage
- Intent: Commercial, pain-driven (staffing gaps, burnout)
- Target page:
/use-cases/weekend-holiday-coverage(to create) - SERP: hybrid. AAG Health's explainer post outranks pure service pages, so write an educational-commercial hybrid rather than a service page.
- Angle: per-report pricing fits intermittent weekend and holiday demand that contract models handle badly.
2c. Overflow reads: Priority P2
- Primary: overflow radiology reads
- Secondaries: radiology overflow coverage, outsourced radiology reads, radiology outsourcing, radiology backlog reduction, overflow support for radiology groups
- Intent: Commercial with strong ROI-research subintent
- Target page:
/use-cases/overflow-radiology-reads(to create) - SERP: DiagnosticImaging's ROI analysis (63% IRR on outsourced overflow) ranks, plus Experity comparison content and NDX/ALM pages
- Angle: ROI and economics framing is the identified content gap. No vendor has productized the IRR analysis.
2d. STAT reads under 30 minutes: Priority P1
- Primary: STAT radiology reads
- Secondaries: radiology turnaround time benchmarks, STAT read turnaround time, 30 minute STAT reads, stroke read turnaround, critical results reporting time, teleradiology turnaround time
- Intent: Informational-commercial
- Target page:
/use-cases/stat-radiology-reads(to create) - SERP: benchmark and blog heavy (AAG TAT benchmarks, Radsource "The STAT Rate Your Practice Should Be Watching", The Radiology Group TAT stats, NDX 2026 TAT report, Natoe workflow explainer)
- Angle: a data-backed benchmark page carrying AstraRad's own SLA. Contractual standard cited across the SERP is 30 minutes for STAT; leaders claim sub-20 (NightHawk), 12-minute average (vRad), stroke under 7 minutes. This is also the canonical stats page other pages cite.
Long-Tail (Cluster 2)
- overnight radiology coverage for emergency department
- who covers radiology at night for small hospitals
- weekend radiology coverage without hiring
- radiologist vacation coverage service
- how to clear a radiology reporting backlog
- outsource radiology overflow volume
- 24/7 radiology coverage for critical access hospital
- teleradiology for urgent care centers
- after hours radiology reads for imaging center

Cluster 3: Buyer Education and Definitions
Pillar
- Keyword: what is teleradiology
- Intent: Informational
- Pillar page:
/resources/what-is-teleradiology(to create)
3a. Teleradiology cost: Priority P1 (highest leverage)
- Primary: teleradiology cost per read
- Secondaries: teleradiology pricing, radiology reading fees, teleradiology rates by modality, cost of outsourcing radiology reads, teleradiology pay per study, per-study radiology interpretation prices
- Intent: High commercial-investigation, bottom-of-funnel
- Target page:
/resources/teleradiology-cost(to create) - SERP: NDX Imaging utterly dominates with an entire
/prices/hub, plus Natoe. Two credible sources total. - 2026 market ranges to cite with attribution: X-ray from $12, cardiology $14, ultrasound $28, mammography $32, nuclear from $38, CT from $40, echo $45, MRI from $60, PET-CT from $99 (NDX published tables); broader per-study claims of $25 to $150 by modality and urgency (Natoe); STAT premiums of 20 to 50% over routine.
- Angle: the single biggest content gap in the niche, and it maps 1:1 onto our per-report model. Year-stamp the title, put figures in on-page tables, refresh annually. Cite third-party ranges with attribution; never publish AstraRad's own rates.
3b. How to choose a teleradiology company: Priority P1
- Primary: how to choose a teleradiology company
- Secondaries: teleradiology partner checklist, teleradiology RFP questions, best teleradiology companies, teleradiology vendor evaluation criteria, teleradiology buyer's guide 2026
- Intent: Commercial-investigation
- Target page:
/resources/how-to-choose-teleradiology-company(to create) - SERP: competitor buyer's guides and checklists (Experity, Radsource, Vesta, Expert Radiology, Advanced Telemed, Teleradiology Consultants' 40-question checklist). The adjacent "best teleradiology companies 2026" SERP is pure self-serving listicles, with ALM holding 3 of the top 6 slots.
- Angle: downloadable RFP checklist earns links. Feeds the independent-alternative narrative. Later wave: a companion "Best Teleradiology Companies 2026" listicle that honestly ranks competitors, which is the de facto citation layer in this niche.
3c. Preliminary vs final reads: Priority P1 (easiest win)
- Primary: preliminary vs final radiology reads
- Secondaries: STAT vs preliminary vs final report, preliminary read definition radiology, wet read vs final read, discrepancy rate preliminary reads, final reads teleradiology
- Intent: Informational (clinicians and residents search this too)
- Target page:
/resources/stat-vs-preliminary-vs-final-reads(to create) - SERP: stale. Radiology Today articles from 2013 and academic papers (AJR/PubMed, 2.6% discrepancy stat). No modern vendor owns it.
- Angle: cheapest ranking on the list. Cite the AJR discrepancy literature, reinforce the final-reads-overnight wedge, mark up as FAQPage.
3d. In-house vs outsourced: Priority P2
- Primary: in-house vs outsourced radiology
- Secondaries: teleradiology vs in-house radiology, pros and cons of teleradiology, outsourcing radiology department, hidden costs of teleradiology outsourcing, hybrid radiology staffing model
- Intent: Informational-commercial, decision-stage
- Target page:
/resources/in-house-vs-outsourced-radiology(to create) - SERP: Medality, Qubyx, Candelis, Experity blogs, plus critical academic and trade coverage (Springer's "compromises and hidden costs", Radiology Business)
- Angle: the SERP rewards balanced comparison over sales copy. Conceding trade-offs matches SERP expectations and reads as trustworthy to answer engines. Include a break-even framework.
3e. What is teleradiology: Priority P3
- Primary: what is teleradiology
- Secondaries: how does teleradiology work, teleradiology definition, teleradiology workflow PACS DICOM, benefits of teleradiology, teleradiology for imaging centers
- Intent: Informational, top of funnel
- Target page:
/resources/what-is-teleradiology(to create) - SERP: hard head term. Competitor educational pages (Radsource, Everlight, Vesta) alongside Philips, News-Medical, Wikipedia, ScienceDirect.
- Angle: do not chase the head term directly. Win the "how it works step by step for imaging centers" long-tail the way Natoe does. The definition block on this page is the sitewide quotable line for llms.txt and answer engines.
Long-Tail (Cluster 3)
- how much does teleradiology cost per study
- teleradiology cost per read by modality
- what questions to ask a teleradiology vendor
- teleradiology RFP checklist
- is teleradiology cheaper than hiring a radiologist
- break even on outsourcing radiology reads
- what is a wet read in radiology
- difference between preliminary and final radiology report
- how does teleradiology work step by step

Cluster 4: State Licensing and Geography
Pillar
- Keyword: teleradiology licensing
- Secondaries: teleradiology state licensing requirements, where should a teleradiologist be licensed, Interstate Medical Licensure Compact radiology, teleradiology credentialing, state medical license telemedicine
- Intent: Informational-commercial (vendor vetting)
- Target page:
/licensing(to create), with state spokes - Priority: P2
The geo pattern is viable and actively exploited. ALM ranks programmatic pages ("Teleradiology Services Texas USA", "After hours teleradiology California USA"); iVIEscan runs a Texas hub; Vesta ranks state-pair rural-hospital posts. SERPs for smaller states are thin, mostly local radiology groups plus one or two national programmatic pages.
Critical requirement: licensing substance is what separates a real geo page from a doorway page. Every state page must carry the actual licensure pathway, a "last verified" stamp, primary-source citations, and a not-legal-advice line. Full verified facts are in ../research/research-synthesis-2026-07-31.json → result.licensing.
State pattern
- Primary: teleradiology services [state]
- Secondaries: teleradiology company in [state], after hours teleradiology [state], [state] radiology reads, teleradiology for rural hospitals in [state], remote radiologist [state] licensed
Wave 1 states (in build order)
| Page | Licensure fact that must appear |
|---|---|
/licensing/texas | Full TX license required since 2017; grandfathered telemedicine licenses converted 2024-2025, pathway effectively closed; IMLC member (HB 1616, June 2021), applications live March 2022, jurisprudence exam required |
/licensing/florida | Full license or the 456.47 out-of-state telehealth registration (active unencumbered out-of-state license, no discipline in 5 years, FL registered agent, telehealth-only); joined IMLC March 21, 2024 as member 42 |
/licensing/california | Full CA license required, no telehealth registration exists, NOT in IMLC; the 2060 consultation exemption excludes ultimate diagnostic authority so it does not cover final reads. Mention SB 508 / SB 1002 only as unenacted. |
/licensing/new-york | Full NY license required, no telehealth registration; treat NY as NOT an IMLC member (A.1983/S.5657 introduced, no confirmed enactment). Re-verify before publish. Do not publish the unverified border-state reciprocity claim. |
/licensing/colorado | Full license baseline; SB 24-141 telehealth registration with physicians eligible from Jan 1, 2026 (verify the physician registration is live on the DORA site before publishing); IMLC member, Commission headquartered in Colorado |
/licensing/ohio | ORC 4731.296 telemedicine certificate (~$350, requires unrestricted out-of-state license with 50+ hours CME per 2 years, no in-person practice); Ohio IS an IMLC member since June 2021 per med.ohio.gov |
Framing rule for every page in this cluster
"The interpreting radiologist must be licensed where the patient is located; ACR standards also expect licensure where the read is performed." Never cite the CMS Medicare billing rule as a licensure exemption: it is a billing nuance, and state medical practice acts still govern.
Later waves
Georgia and Illinois are the next two by volume and shortage. Do not build 50 thin pages.
Cluster 5: Trust, Compliance, and SLA
5a. HIPAA compliant teleradiology: Priority P2
- Primary: HIPAA compliant teleradiology
- Secondaries: teleradiology data security, teleradiology HIPAA requirements, GDPR medical imaging compliance, business associate agreement teleradiology, PHI security radiology
- Intent: Commercial-investigation (RFP stage)
- Target page:
/compliance(to create) - Gap: vRad's SOC 2 exists only as a press release; Real Radiology's HITRUST and Joint Commission credentials are buried on About; USARAD has nothing modern.
5b. Teleradiology SLA: Priority P1
- Primary: teleradiology SLA
- Secondaries: radiology turnaround time SLA, teleradiology quality assurance, radiology peer review program, discrepancy rate radiology, teleradiology service level agreement
- Intent: Commercial-investigation
- Target page:
/sla(to create) - Role: this is the canonical, dated stats page every other page's hard numbers link back to. It exists to prevent the cross-page stat inconsistency that costs vRad and USARAD their citation credibility.
Competitor Keyword Gaps
Keywords competitors rank for where AstraRad has no page yet, and where their page is beatable.
USARAD (usarad.com)
- teleradiology cost: Their page discusses cost but publishes no numbers and gates everything behind a form. Opportunity: High. Action:
/resources/teleradiology-cost. - sample radiology report [modality]: 169 sample-report URLs, one of their few genuinely differentiated long-tail plays. Opportunity: Medium. Action: consider a sample-report asset in a later wave.
- subspecialty radiology: Static 2018 HTML, no schema, meta-keywords-era SEO. Opportunity: High. Action: the modality cluster plus
/our-radiologists. - radiology second opinion: Offloaded to a separate B2C domain, leaving usarad.com thin. Opportunity: Medium. Action: second-opinion content on
/services.
StatRad (statrad.com)
- teleradiology turnaround time: They have a "Turnaround Times" H2 with no numbers. Opportunity: High. Action:
/use-cases/stat-radiology-readsand/sla. - cost of switching teleradiology services: Their white paper owns the topic from the incumbent's defensive side. Opportunity: High. Action: a switching guide from the challenger side, in a later wave.
- radiologist shortage, AI in radiology: Blog dormant since mid-2023. Opportunity: Medium.
vRad (vrad.com)
- teleradiology services (head term): strong domain, but the page has no pricing, no SLA percentage, and no site-wide median. Opportunity: Medium.
- telemammography / can mammography be done remotely: Their strongest buyer-intent page. Opportunity: Medium. Action:
/services/telemammographymust answer the question query directly. - radiology turnaround times: Protocol-level averages only (stroke under 7 min, trauma under 12 min), never a site-wide commitment, and their stats contradict across pages. Opportunity: High.
- vRad alternatives: Uncontested, and the consolidation narrative is already in AI answers. Opportunity: High. Action: later-wave alternatives cluster.
Real Radiology (realrads.com)
- teleradiology services: Their single buyer-facing page, "industry-leading turnaround times" with no numbers. Opportunity: High.
- Everything else on their site is radiologist recruiting. The entire buyer keyword space is open against them.
NDX Imaging (ndximaging.com)
- teleradiology prices / cost per read / [modality] reading fees: They own the whole pricing cluster purely by publishing numbers. Opportunity: High but contested. Action:
/resources/teleradiology-costwith a modality table and year stamp.
ALM, Excalibur, Natoe, Experity, RAD365
- best teleradiology companies [year]: Vendor-authored listicles hold this SERP. Opportunity: High. Action: publish our own honest ranked buyer's guide. Do not pursue inclusion outreach with these; they will not list a rival.
Keyword Opportunity Pipeline
High Priority (Wave 1)
1. teleradiology cost per read: only two credible sources exist, bottom-of-funnel intent, maps directly to our model. Action: /resources/teleradiology-cost. 2. STAT radiology reads / turnaround benchmarks: becomes the canonical stats page every other page cites. Action: /use-cases/stat-radiology-reads plus /sla. 3. STAT CT reads: highest-intent modality query, and the incumbents' turnaround claims contradict themselves. Action: /services/stat-ct-reads. 4. nighthawk radiology: head volume, and the final-vs-prelim wedge is proven against the exact-match-domain incumbent. Action: /use-cases/nighthawk-radiology. 5. preliminary vs final radiology reads: ranking content is from 2013. Cheapest win available. Action: /resources/stat-vs-preliminary-vs-final-reads. 6. PET-CT teleradiology: thinnest SERP of all study types. Action: /services/pet-ct-nuclear-medicine. 7. how to choose a teleradiology company: feeds the independent-alternative narrative and earns links via the checklist. Action: /resources/how-to-choose-teleradiology-company.
Medium Priority (Wave 1 tail / Wave 2)
- MRI teleradiology reporting, telemammography, X-ray and ultrasound overflow
- overflow radiology reads, weekend radiology coverage
- in-house vs outsourced radiology
- teleradiology SLA, HIPAA compliant teleradiology
- teleradiology licensing plus the six state pages
Low Priority (Wave 3+)
- what is teleradiology (head term, authority-site SERP)
- best teleradiology companies 2026 (our own honest listicle)
- vRad alternatives, StatRad alternatives, independent vs PE-owned teleradiology
- how to switch teleradiology providers without a coverage gap
- teleradiology for urgent care, teleradiology for critical access hospitals
- Georgia and Illinois state pages
- sample radiology report by modality
Keyword Cannibalization Watch
Three real risks in the Wave 1 plan. Enforce these boundaries:
"STAT" pages: /services/stat-ct-reads and /use-cases/stat-radiology-reads both target STAT intent.
- Boundary: the service page is CT-specific and commercial (who reads emergency CT, at what tier, what it costs). The use-case page is modality-agnostic and benchmark-driven (what STAT turnaround means across the industry, what ours is, how it is measured).
- Cross-link both ways; never let either page's H1 contain the other's primary keyword.

Usage Guidelines
When writing new content
1. Identify the cluster and confirm the target page is not already claimed by another article 2. Check the cannibalization boundaries above before writing the H1 3. Put a number and, on commercial or reference pages, a year in the title 4. Answer the primary question in the first two sentences 5. Include the cluster's Related Questions as an FAQ block with FAQPage schema 6. Link to the pillar and to /sla or /pricing, per internal-links-map.md
When optimizing existing content
1. Verify the page targets one primary keyword, not two 2. Check for cannibalization against the three watch pairs 3. Confirm every hard number matches features.md § Verified Stat Pack 4. Update the year stamp and the updated frontmatter on refresh
